Girl's heartfelt card to 'mummy in heaven' gets tear-jerking reply from kind stranger

Having lost her beloved mum, Jennifer, to cancer in December, this was four-year-old Ella Lennon's first Mother's Day without her.

However, thanks to one kind-hearted Royal Mail worker, the day passed a lot less painfully for the grieving youngster.

She addressed the envelope with: "To Mummy in heaven, Happy Mother's Day. I love you, Ella x."

To the family's joy and surprise, Ella then received a tear-jerking reply.
