Girl missing from Skokie found: police

A 17-year-old girl who was reported missing from north suburban Skokie has been located safely.

Shantay Gardener had last been seen about 5 p.m. Friday in the 8200 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, Skokie police said.

Police confirmed Sunday that Gardener had been found safe.
