Missing 12-year-old from Douglas found safe

A 12-year-old girl reported missing from Douglas on the South Side has been found safe.

Kaliyah Thompson was last seen about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday near the 3500 block of South Rhodes Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

Police on Thursday said she was located safe.
