Girl left with 'life-altering injuries' after being hit by car in Gregory Boulevard

A girl has been left with "life-altering injuries" after she was hit by a car in Gregory Boulevard.

The incident is being treated as "a serious collision" after the road was cordoned off from 2.30pm until around 4.25pm on Friday, April 19.

Police said two children, whose ages have not been given, were taken to hospital after being hit by a car at the junction with Alfreton Road .

No arrests have been made.

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage to determine what has happened.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "Injuries to one of the girls are potentially life-altering but neither have injuries which are likely to be life-threatening.

"Police are still investigating, so any witnesses or dash cam footage would be appreciated.

"People can call 101 with any information, quoting incident number 446 of 19 April when they call."
