Girl-led Dublin gang use screwdriver to threaten staff and rob Centra shop in Lucan

A dangerous girl-led Dublin duo threatened staff with a screwdriver before robbing a shop in the west of the capital last night.

The woman thug and her male counterpart entered the Centra shop in Griffeen, Lucan at around 7:30pm on Tuesday.

The armed crime group held up hardworking members of the shop who were doing their best to stock up the store for the rest of the night just hours after Leo Varadkar's restriction speech.

Using the screwdriver, the gang managed to take a sum of cash before fleeing the scene on foot.

A gardahunt is now underway to find the pair as no arrests have been made so far.

A garda spokeswoman confirmed to Dublin Live that thankfully no injuries had been reported despite the frightening incident.
