A nine-year-old girl has been hit and killed by a truck on her way home from school in Sydney's west.
The girl died at the scene in Cambridge Gardens about 4pm on Monday, police said.
The intersection was closed to traffic and pedestrians as investigators set up a crime scene and interviewed the truck driver.
The death will be referred to the coroner.
