Over 140 people celebrated the 100th anniversary of Girl Guides’ Hamilton division last week.
Girls from Rainbows (age 5-7), Brownies (age 7-10), Guides (age 10-14) and Rangers (age 14-18) came together for a fun day at Hamilton College on Saturday, October 5.
The event included lots of treats such as bracelet making and an escape room, where the youths had to crack various clues in order to break free.
Guide Leader Audrey Faulds said: “We were delighted to celebrate 100 years of Guiding in Hamilton.
“Thank you to everyone who came along, and indeed to all the Guide Leaders who help make it all possible.”
Guide Leaders got together and celebrated at a civic reception in South Lanarkshire Council’s headquarters on Tuesday evening.
