The body of an 11-year-old girl has been found at a house south-east of Brisbane.
Paramedics were called to the house at Mount Cotton, in Redland City, just after 6:00pm.
They found the girl's body and a woman, aged in her 40s, with non-life threatening injuries.
The woman, who was known to the girl, was taken to Redland Hospital.
Police say the death is being treated as not suspicious.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted today to determine how the girl died.
