Girl demands extravagant gifts in letter to Santa despite admitting she 'deserves coal'

A little girl's extravagant Christmas list has gone viral after she asked for a trip to France, an iPhone, AirPods, the "latest" computer, and the PlayStation Four and Five, despite admitting she "failed miserably" to be good this year.

In a letter to Santa, the nine-year-old wrote down the gifts she expects to unwrap this Christmas - but she didn't ask for one or two presents, she asked for 12.

Her older brother couldn't help but laugh when he found the list, later sharing it to Twitter where he said: "Y’all, look at this letter my little 9y/r sister wrote to Santa."

The girl, from Essex, wrote: "Dear beloved Father Christmas, I hope you’ve had a wonderful year and you’ve been well.

She admitted that after the year she's had, she deserves coal (AllyTheJedi/Twitter)

"My year has been quite the opposite.

"I’ve tried hard to be good but miserably failed.

"I’ll be honest I do deserve coal, but please I’d love to have a present.

"Actually more than one.

"Here’s a list - tick the boxes if you have done them."

The list reads:

  • AirPods
  • Games Console
  • Snake
  • Playstation Five and Four
  • Nintendo Switch
  • A DJ set
  • A trip to France for the whole family
  • An iPhone 12
  • Mobile laptop
  • A new computer
  • Hand sanitiser - how very 2020?
  • The complete book set of The Wizards of Oz
  • A panda and a penguin (not dead)

The little girl has an eye for the latest technology as she lists an iPhone 12, AirPods, a Playstation Four and Five, as well as a games console, a laptop and the "latest" computer.

But that's not all, she also loves animals, as she asks for a snake, penguin and a panda, who are very much alive.

She politely concluded her letter, saying: "Hopefully you succeed to fulfill my requested items," along with detailed directions on how Santa should find her house.

Since being posted online, the tweet has received dozens of hilarious comments, with one saying: "A panda & penguin (NOT DEAD)" alongside two laughing emojis.

Another person said: "Hey at least she only asked for AirPods and not the Max’s or Pros."

A third added: "I feel for the parents. Also, her vocabulary is great!"

"It’s the handwriting and vocabulary for me... And five tickets to France.

"Damn. Y’all should at least at the bare minimum complete half of her request. She invested a lot in making that list", said another.
