Girl, 9, taken to Syria by ISIS fanatic dad 'dreams of coming home to Britain'

A young girl who was forced to move to Syria by her dad four years ago to join ISIS says she dreams of coming back to England.

The unnamed nine-year-old is trapped in a Syrian refugee camp following the defeat of the terror group, and she is now begging to come home.

The girl's whole family all travelled to Syria - however her dad has since been killed in unknown circumstances.

In an interview with The Times the child recalled spending time at the beach and in parks with her family while living in the UK.

She has now said: "I want to come back to England."

ISIS bride Shamima Begum's husband says third baby's death is 'living nightmare'

Describing how her room would look, she added: "Lots of pink. I like pink roses and every colour of roses. I want them in my room", The Sun reports.

She cannot speak Arabic, so makes friends with stray dogs around the camp.

The girl is though to be one of hundreds of British children trapped in refugee camps following the defeat of ISIS.

The desperate family reportedly attempted to escape 10 months ago - paying a smuggler to take them out of the area.

However they were captured by Kurdish-led forces before they made it to their destination of Turkey.

The girl's mum, who is also unnamed, said she has long wanted to leave the camp - and was following her husband's orders when they moved there.

The story comes after ISIS bride Shamima Begum made a desperate plea to come back to the UK after heading to Syria in 2015 with school friends.

The Home Office revoked her British citizenship - with some critics stating she would be a danger to the country.
