Girl, 9, missing in Elgin is found safe and well

A nine-year-old girl who was reported missing in Elgin has been found safe and well.

Demi Hill, 9, was last seen in the Robertson Drive area at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, sparking an urgent police appeal.

Police confirmed Demi had been traced safe and well on Tuesday evening.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers would like to pass on there thanks for help received."
