AN eight-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy were among those taken to hospital after a crash on the A9.
At around 2.20pm on Wednesday, 16 July, 2025, emergency services were called to the collision involving a car and an HGV at the junction with the A938.
The HGV is understood to have overturned.
Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and officers are appealing for information.
The driver of the HGV was not injured, but the driver of the car, a 47-year-old man, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The passengers, an eight-year-old girl and four-year-old boy, were also taken to the same hospital by air ambulance. All remain in a stable condition.
Following crash investigations, the road reopened around 11pm.
Sergeant Kate Finlayson said: “We are aware members of the public stopped to help before emergency services attended. I’d like to thank them and ask any who have not already spoken to police to make contact with us.
“I’m also appealing to anyone else who saw what happened or has dash-cam footage from the A9 in the Carrbridge area around the time of the collision, to please come forward as it may assist our enquiries.”
