A five-year-old schoolgirl found a terrifying bladed tool wrapped up in a tent which her mum bought online from Tesco.
Carrie-Ann Forbes, from near Aviemore in Scotland, has revealed how her daughter said "mum I've got the snippers for the tent" when she picked up the sharp tool.
She ordered the tent for her children to use in the back garden of their home, the Daily Record reports.
The disabled mum complained to Tesco and was told to return the tent and the mystery blade, which has Chinese-style writing on it, to a store.
The supermarket giant has now apologised for the incident and launched an investigation into how it happened.

Carrie-Ann said: “We put the tent on the ground and the kids unrolled it. That’s when my daughter held up the blade. It’s definitely come out of the tent. It couldn’t have come from anywhere else.
“We’re in a new build house and there’s nothing in the garden apart from some of the kids' toys. I was shocked. My daughter is only five and she didn’t realise what she was holding.
“She just thought it was something to do with the tent. She just said ‘mum I’ve got the snippers for the tent’."

The mum said her children could have been hurt by the dangerous delivery, which she received on April 17.
She had bought the same tent before as she said they only cost a few pounds.
“It’s just a case of buy them, the kids maybe get a couple of weeks play out of them before they break and you bin them," Carrie-Ann said.
“I bought this tent on April 17 and it just sat in the house because the weather hadn’t been that great.
“It was quite dry on Monday when the kids went to school so I promised them we would put it up when they got home."

Carrie-Ann was shocked when her daughter picked up the bladed tool as they were unrolling the tent.
She said: “As soon as I saw them, I realised it wasn’t meant to be in there and told her to go wash her hands.
“I inspected the tent and it was spotless so it hadn’t been returned before and it obviously fell in during the production process.
"It had Chinese-style writing on the side of the sharp blades. Either one of the kids could’ve fallen or stood on that.
“Of all the things you could find inside, it has to be one of the worst possible things.”
She added: “I called Tesco and they said they’d never had anything like this before and that I would have to return the blade and the tent to a store.
“But I’m disabled which is why I was doing my shopping online. That was the only option apparently.”
A Tesco spokesperson said: “We are extremely sorry to hear about this incident. We are in touch with our customer to apologise, and are investigating how this happened.”
