A five-year-old girl is fighting for her life after locking herself inside a family car, police say.
The child is believed to have climbed into the vehicle when it was parked on a driveway of home in Tanilba Bay near Port Stephens in Australia.
The temperature in the area was around 37.5°C.
The girl was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition, New South Wales Police said.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation by detectives from Port Stephens.

No-one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The news comes after a mum was charged with murder following the deaths of her two daughters.
The girls aged one and two, died inside a black station wagon parked across from the family home in Logan, near Brisbane.
Kerri-Ann Conley, 27 , faces two counts of murder.
