Girl, 3, rushed to hospital after falling from flat window in Motherwell

A three-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after falling from a flat window in a horror incident.

Emergency Services were called to the scene on Tulley Wynd in Motherwell after the toddler fell from a block of flats and was rushed to University Hospital in Wishaw.

Police confirmed the incident occurred yesterday, August 7, just after 7pm.

The child is understood to be in a sable condition.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.05pm on Saturday, 7 August, officers were called to a report of a three-year-old girl injured after falling from the window of a flat in Tulley Wynd, Motherwell.

“Police and Ambulance attended and she was taken to the University Hospital in Wishaw, where staff describe her condition as stable.

“Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
