Girl, 17, shot on Near West Side

A teenage girl was injured in a shooting Sunday on the Near West Side.

The 17-year-old was riding in a vehicle about 1 a.m. in the 2600 block of West 15th Street when two males fired shots, according to Chicago police.

She was hit in the left shoulder and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Three detectives investigate.
