A 17-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting Wednesday in Gresham on the South Side.
About 5:15 p.m., she was standing on the front porch of a home in the 7500 block of South Carpenter Street when a white four-door vehicle drove up and someone inside unleashed gunfire, Chicago police said.
The teen was hit in the foot and taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, police said.
No arrests have been reported. Area South detectives are investigating.
