Girl, 17, critically hurt in Englewood shooting

A teenage girl was shot multiple times Saturday in Englewood on the South Side.

The 17-year-old was shot in the face and neck about 10:30 p.m., according to Chicago police.

Two males dropped her off at Holy Cross Hospital, and she was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Further details about the shooting are unknown, as investigators have been unable to locate the males who dropped her off or any other witnesses, police said.

No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
