Girl, 15, reported missing from Streeterville may be in South Shore

A 15-year-old girl reported missing from downtown Streeterville may be somewhere in South Shore, police say.

Kaniya Purdis was last seen Wednesday in the 400 block of East Ohio Street, Chicago police said in a missing person alert.

She may be in the vicinity of 71st Street and Jeffery Boulevard.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
