Girl, 15, missing from Lawndale safely located

A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing from Lawndale on the West Side has been safely located.

Fryda Jimenez was last seen Friday in the 1900 block of South Troy Street, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police.

Police canceled the alert about 8:35 p.m. Sunday, stating Jimenez was safely located.
