Girl, 15, missing from home believed to have travelled 143 miles to Merseyside

A 15-year-old girl last seen in Middlesbrough is believed to now be in Merseyside.

Sophie Francis, 15, was last seen on Sunday in the North East of England and is believed to have travelled back 143 miles to Merseyside.

Police have been unable to locate the missing girl and concerns have grown four days on from her last sighting.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Please share and help us find missing teenager Sophie Francis.

"15-year-old Sophie was last seen on Sunday 28 March in the Middlesbrough area and is now believed to be in Merseyside.

"Sophie is white, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, with shoulder length straight dark black hair in a ponytail.

"She has blue eyes, speaks with a Liverpool accent and has a scar on her forehead and is wearing a splint on her hand.

"When last seen, Sophie was wearing a black hooded jumper, grey leggings with a fish scale pattern, black trainers, and a blue and white facemask.

"She is known in Halewood, Kirkby, Kensington, Anfield, Kensington, Everton, Kirkdale, Vauxhall, Edge Hill and Fairfield.
