"Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time and I would ask that their privacy is respected as they come to terms with their loss.
“We are committed to finding out the circumstances surrounding the incident and an investigation is ongoing to determine events directly before the collision happened.
“I would like to thank members of the public who have already come forward to assist with our enquiries but we would still urge anyone who witnessed the collision, who is yet to contact police, to get in touch as soon as possible.
“We are also keen for anyone who was passing through the area at the time, who may have dashcam footage, to get in touch.”
