Police hope to identify this man
(Picture: Metropolitan Police)Detectives are seeking to identify a man after a teenager was sexually assaulted on a London bus in Haringey.
The 14-year-old girl sat down behind the driver when a man boarded the 144 at Wood Green, north London.
He sat beside her and began touching her legs inappropriately as the bus made its way towards Muswell Hill.
When the teenager got off the bus, and was on the phone to her mother, she noticed the man was following her.
The assault took place at around 5.30pm on June 13.
PC Neil Marshall, of the Met’s roads and transport policing command, said: “Everyone should be able to travel on our transport network without fear of harassment or molestation.
“It is important that we identify this man. If you have information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please do get in touch.”
