A teenage girl was in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle Monday near Midway International Airport in Clearing on the Southwest Side.
The 14-year-old was struck by the vehicle at 6:23 a.m. near the intersection of Cicero Avenue and 63rd Street, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.
She was taken in serious condition to Comer Children’s Hospital, according to a Chicago Fire Dept. spokesman.
