Girl, 11, suffers potentially life-changing injuries after being hit by car in Weston-super-Mare

An 11-year-old is in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after being hit by a car in Somerset.

The incident, which took place on Tuesday, December 1, saw a collision between a car and the girl in Weston-super-Mare.

A turquoise Toyota Yaris and a pedestrian were involved in the crash, which took place at about 3.05pm in Milton Hill.

The pedestrian, an 11-year-old girl, was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries. She remains in hospital.

Avon and Somerset Police are now looking to hear from any witnesses or fellow motorists who have dash cam as part of our enquiries.
