A schoolgirl who died four days after an accident at her Cheshire home had been playing on a swing, neighbours have reportedly claimed.
Emergency services were called to the family home in Widnes on Sunday, May 23.
The 11-year-old victim was rushed to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool in a critical condition.
But despite medics' best efforts, she tragically passed away on Thursday, May 27.
Residents of the neighbourhood told The Sun the girl was "playing on her swing” in her garden when she was injured.
A neighbour told the newspaper: “I heard the girl hurt herself on a swing.

“Losing a child is terrible for any family.”
Investigators have yet to outline the nature of the circumstances that led to the little girl's injuries.
Cheshire Constabulary earlier this week said her death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file was being sent to the coroner.
The young girl's family was being supported by officers, the statement from the police force added.
Detective Inspector Rob Lees said in a statement on Tuesday: "This appears to have been a tragic accident and our thoughts remain with the child’s family at this difficult time.
"They are being supported by officers and we request for their privacy to be respected."
A previous statement said, according to the Liverpool Echo : "Police were called to reports that a 11-year-old girl had sustained serious injuries following an incident outside an address on Tedder Square in Widnes.
"Police and paramedics attended the scene and the girl was subsequently taken to Alder Hey Hospital, her condition is currently described as critical but stable.
"Officer are currently establishing the circumstances surrounding the incident, but at this stage it does not appear to be suspicious."
