New Delhi: Former IAS officer of the UP Cadre (1977 batch), Girish Chandra Chaturvedi will be the new Chairman of the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
He is serving as non-executive chairman of ICICI Bank.
During his tenure, he has held main positions of Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Special Director General (Finance & Accounts), Organizing Committee Commonwealth Games, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Additional/Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance and Additional Secretary & Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
