Gio van Bronckhorst has sent a firm message to the Rangers dressing room that has instantly helped results.
"Keep the zero."
It's quickly become a catchphrase for the Dutchman following a fifth win from five Premiership games as he stretched his unbeaten start to life at Ibrox to seven matches in all competitions.
It shows a major turnaround since the Steven Gerrard era when the champions were consistently falling behind in games.
During the title win last season the record-breaking low of goals conceded built the foundation for success, and van Bronckhorst’s mantra is clearly looking to recapture that form.
It's five clean sheets from seven games, with the "keep the zero" mantra being brought out to mark every shut out so far.
And – spookily – on the two occasions he didn’t trot out the line, Rangers let in goals against Livingston and Lyon.
Before facing Sparta Prague, he immediately called for his side to defend as a unit to prevent falling behind.
He said: “We need to be more compact. The defending part of the game is for everyone. The main objective is to make sure we keep a clean sheet and keep the zero.”
Ahead of a tough away day at Easter Road, van Bronckhorst once again centred the performance around “the zero”.
He called for a team effort against Hibs, stating: "Our defending starts from the strikers, for me it is important to keep the zero while also trying to score goals."
And it came prove to be a vital call with the 1-0 win coming down to a Kemar Roofe penalty.

Against Hearts, he singled out Allan McGregor for special praise with the philosophy.
Following the 2-0 win at Tynecastle, he said: "It is always good to have a good goalie in goal, which Allan is, of course, and at times, he made some vital saves, so that is why he helped to keep the zero again against a tough opponent."
Despite dominating struggling Dundee in a comfortable 3-0 victory, the Ibrox boss was quick to laud his team for another clean sheet rather than the scoring exploits
He stated: “For me, it’s a good sign that even when we are 3-0 up, we can see a team very focused, very concentrated in keeping the zero.”
And after they cruised to victory against last season’s double winners St Johnstone, he added: "We want to keep the zero. It's very important to our game.”
He followed that up with a warning shot for Dundee United with "the zero" boasting an 100 per cent record: "That's also the focus that we need to have on Saturday."
