Strictly Come Dancing 2021 winner Rose Ayling-Ellis took to social media to show off her dance moves while spending time with her family over Christmas.
The EastEnders actress shows off her new dance partner now the BBC show is over as she shared a sweet snap of her brother lifting her up on the beach.
Her former Strictly professional partner, Giovanni Pernice, quickly replied to the post with a 'well done' comment to Rose and her brother.
This interaction got fans of the show emotional as they missed seeing the duo tear up the dancefloor together every weekend.
Rose posted the picture to her 525,000 thousand Instagram followers showing she still has the moves as she was lifted high into the air in a Strictly style lift.
Fans were left scratching their heads as to who the mysterious man in the hoodie lifting her could be, but eventually he was identified as Rose’s brother Jacob.
“Strictly you're still not out of my system,” Rose wrote underneath the post with a laughing emoji.
“Well done!!!!” her former Strictly partner Giovanni responded with three smiley emojis surrounded by hearts.
Rose made waves when she was crowned the winner of the year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Giovanni, as she was the show’s first ever deaf contestant.
The EastEnders actress lifted the glitterball trophy with her dance partner just one week before Christmas and seemed overjoyed at the win.
Many fans were quick to tell Rose how missed the dynamic duo were from their screens.
“Already miss watching you and Giovanni dance every week!!” commented Buckleyseclipse.
“Looks like you’re having the time of your lives! Miss u and Gio on Strictly tho!” added fanpage Roseovanni. (sic)
“Fantastic!! Missing watching you and Giovanni on Strictly though!!! What a team!” wrote peterfrancisfilmdesign.
However, other fans seemed to take it one step further by suggesting that the pair should reconnect, even insisting that she was with the “wrong man”.
“Please let that be Giovanni,” Kerry.a.77 wrote with a red love heart.
Robbie Jones commented: “Wrong man though! Where’s Gio?!”
Rose’s brother Jacob also had some heartfelt words of encouragement for his sister in a surprise video that was filmed ahead of the final.
He said: “When I first found out about Rose on Strictly, I think - it was just absolutely mindblowing.
“To see her get the earliest 40 in Strictly history, it just summed up how hard she's been working.
“She's just powering through and saying to the public, I can do everything that anyone else can do if I'm given that opportunity.”
“Marry giovanni we all saw the love you have for each other,” Lynn Bonnett commented bluntly.
Their incredible chemistry and close bond left many fans hoping for a romance between Rose and Giovanni on Strictly, but Rose has a boyfriend, Sam, who she has been dating for seven years.
Sam even made an appearance in the show’s final episode, proudly supporting Rose from the audience as she went on to win first place in the competition.
