Giovanna Fletcher's worry as she helps with Strictly star husband Tom's rehearsals

Giovanna Fletcher shared her worry as she stepped in to help her hubby Tom Fletcher on his Strictly Come Dancing journey.

Tom is partnered with pro Amy Dowden on the BBC dance contest and Giovanni filled in for Amy as the McFly musician practiced their foxtrot.

The pair had a spin around the floor at home together in their loungwear as he prepared for Saturday night's performance, but I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here! winner Giovanna confessed to feeling nervous.

"My main worry was tripping up, pulling him over and breaking his ankle," she admitted with a laughing emoji as she shared a video on Instagram.

Author, podcaster and vlogger Giovanna, who has three young sons with Tom, has hit it off with Amy as she and Tom work towards their aim of lifting the coveted glitterball trophy.

"Cannot wait to see these beauts dance again tonight," she messaged on Insta.

And Amy replied: "Can't wait to see you."

Last week Giovanna, who won I'm A Celebrity 2020, took to Instagram with an adorable video of Amy dancing with the couple's eldest son Buzz.

Giovanna cheered: "The love. The joy. The respect. The concentration. The inspiration. The admiration. The elation.

"LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Xxxxx @amy_dowden @tomfletcher @bbcstrictly."

Amy then shared the video to her own Instagram story, commenting: "Look at Buzz!! (I'll get him dancing Blackpool before you know it."

She added: "Adore the Fletcher household! Sorry you're stuck with me forever now guys."

Tom also showed just how much they're getting on, sharing a selfie of himself with Giovanna and Amy sat opposite him on a table, writing: "I didn’t get a word in! @mrsgifletcher @amy_dowden."

Tom and Amy made a return to Strictly Come Dancing last weekend after being forced to miss a week when they both tested positive for coronavirus meaning they had to isolate separately for 10 days.

The pair continued training via zoom and were finally reunited for Movie Week.
