Giovani Lo Celso Tottenham shirt number confirmed after transfer deadline day loan move to Spurs

Giovani Lo Celso's Tottenham shirt number has been confirmed following his arrival from Real Betis on a season-long loan deal.

Lo Celso, 23, has joined Spurs for the 2019-20 season in a move which could become permanent next summer.

The Argentina international has been a summer-long target for Spurs, and bolsters Mauricio Pochettino's attacking options for the coming campaign.

Lo Celso will wear the number 18 shirt for the north London club, and the deal will reportedly cost up to £55million if the Champions League finalists buy him.

That shirt number was previously worn by Harry Kane, Jermain Defoe, Steffen Iversen, Jurgen Klinsmann, Frazier Campbell and, most recently, Fernando Llorente.

More to follow.
