Giovani Lo Celso for Harry Winks and seven Tottenham changes Jose Mourinho could make at Burnley

Jose Mourinho will make a number of changes to his Tottenham team at Burnley on Monday night having done so in midweek in the Europa League.

The Spurs head coach made a total of eight alterations for the 3-0 win over LASK and there's a chance he could make a similar amount at Turf Moor.

Players such as Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Tanguy Ndombele dropped down to the bench for a breather and they will be raring to go in Lancashire as the Lilywhites look to right the wrongs of their last Premier League game against West Ham.

But who else could come into the side against Sean Dyche's men? football.london takes a look.

Mourinho post-match press conference after Spurs beat LASK

Lloris for Hart

The first change will come in goal as Hugo Lloris will be restored to the team after taking his place on the bench in midweek.

Joe Hart was very good against LASK but there will be no starting spot for him between the sticks on his return to Burnley following his summer exit.

Aurier for Doherty

Mourinho hasn't yet decided on his first-choice right-back at Tottenham this season and has continued to swap between Serge Aurier and Matt Doherty so far.

Given the former was rested in midweek and has started the last two Premier League games, it could be he who is given the nod.

Alderweireld for Davies

Spurs were rather light at centre-back against LASK with Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga injured and new signing Joe Rodon unable to play as he wasn't registered in time to play in Europe.

Ben Davies operated in the heart of defence in the Group J game but you would imagine Toby Alderweireld will come back in if Dier isn't fit to return.

Ndombele for Lamela

Ndombele's last trip to Burnley was one to forget but he has come on in leaps and bounds and now looks more like the midfielder who starred for Lyon.

The Frenchman has been excellent so far this season and it would be a major shock if he isn't in the starting XI against the Clarets.

Lo Celso/ Sissoko for Winks

As Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg looks a certainty to keep his place in the team given his importance to Spurs, Mourinho has a big choice to make in the other available midfield slot.

He could opt to start with Moussa Sissoko once again or he may plump for Giovani Lo Celso if he is fit enough to start after only just returning from injury.

Fans have been waiting a long time to see a midfield trio of Hojbjerg, Lo Celso and Ndombele from the off and it could be on Monday night when the boss finally unleashes them.

Bergwijn for Bale

Mourinho must also make a decision over Gareth Bale following his first two appearances back in a Tottenham shirt.

The Welshman is still trying to work his way back to full fitness and it may mean he has to settle with appearances off the bench for now in the Premier League.

Steven Bergwijn could be the one to come in if that's the case.

Son for Lucas

There's just no way Son is left out of the team at present.

He has been sensational so far this term and you wouldn't bet against him finding the net once again.

Lucas Moura looks likely to be the one to drop out for the South Korean to come back in.

Kane for Vinicius

Carlos Vinicius was very impressive on his Tottenham debut but he's going to have to make do with a place on the bench as Kane comes back into the side.

The England captain is in top form and Burnley will be dreading coming up against him going on how he's started the campaign.
