Argentinian midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has posted an image to his official Instagram account in which he appears to be saying goodbye to his coach.
Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily-linked with the 23-year-old and hope to wrap up his signing before the close of the transfer window.
Mauricio Pochettino's side have already welcomed two new faces to the club this summer in the shape of Leeds United winger Jack Clarke and Tanguy Ndombele, formerly of Lyon.
While the young wide player will remain with Marcelo Bielsa's side for a futher year on-loan, the French midfielder has already impressed during the pre-season tour.
However, Spurs hope to continue to push on with business despite a loss in momentum of late in the four weeks since Clarke and Ndombele were confirmed.
The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is thought to be top of Tottenham's transfer list with a £45million move tipped to be completed in the next week.
Lo Celso returned to training with Real Betis this week but according to his Instagram, it appears that his return to the Spanish side could be short lived.

Posting on his Instagram story, Lo Celso posted: "Gracias por todo Profe Licha", which translates to, "Thanks for everything teacher."
It would seem as though to midfielder is saying goodbye to a coach who was key to his training regime this summer, with the icon on his shorts blocked out by an Eight Ball emoji.
Tottenham's supporters will be rubbing their hands together at the prospect of the potential arrival of the talented midfielder after saying his goodbyes to those who have made him the player he is.
If Spurs can get a deal over the line, they'll be getting their hands on an extremely popular player, both on and off the pitch.
