Giorgios Giakoumakis has urged Atlanta United to move on quickly and 'achieve great things' this season.
The former Celtic star headed home his fourth goal in four starts to give his new side the perfect start away at Toronto but they suffered late heartbreak with the hosts netting a 94th minute leveller to snatch a 2-2 draw.
It only took the Greek striker FOUR minutes to grab the opener as he superbly headed home from a corner to get his side up and running on the road. Richie Laryea levelled for the hosts two minutes before half-time but Machop Chol fired Giakoumakis and Co back into the lead heading into the final stages of the match. Atlanta looked like they'd be heading for a big away day win but Brandon Servania salvaged a share of the spoils in an entertaining four-goal affair.

The result leaves Atlanta third in the Eastern Conference standings after eight games. They've picked up four wins, three draws and just one defeat in that run and find themselves just two points off the league summit with Cincinnati and New England both level at the summit on 17 points to date.
Despite the late setback, Giakoumakis has sent a rally cry online to his new fans. He wrote on Instagram: "Not the result we wanted but moving forward together we can achieve great things!"
Next up for Atlanta is a home clash with Chicago Fire before U.S. Open Cup third round action against Memphis 901.
Giakoumakis will be hoping to continue his fine start to life in the MLS following his switch from Celtic earlier this year. He joined the Scottish champions 18 months ago but Ange Postecoglou decided to sell the hitman.
