Giorgos Giakoumakis back for Celtic title run in as extent of Josip Juranovic injury revealed

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has revealed his side will be without Josip Juranovic for "a couple of weeks".

But there was better news with striker Giorgos Giakoumakis back in contention for Sunday's pivotal trip to Ross County.

The league leaders will be keeping close tabs on Rangers away to Motherwell on Saturday but know, at worst, they will be six points ahead with only four games left in the Premiership season.

Juranovic limped off during Sunday's 2-1 Scottish Cup defeat to their great rivals which ended Celtic 's hopes of securing a Treble in the Australian's first season in charge.

And Postecoglou moved to provide clarity on the fitness of his squad ahead of the big encounter with the Staggies with Juranovic out and Giakoumakis back.

Celtic return to the Highlands for the first time since Anthony Ralston's last-gasp winner in December which kept them in touch with Rangers.
