Giovanni van Bronckhorst has revealed how his wing kings have helped him make a flying start as Rangers boss.
The new Ibrox boss has made a stunning start since succeeding Steven Gerrard with seven wins and a draw out of eight games in the league and in the Europa League.
Van Bronckhorst admitted he wasn't particularly satisfied with his team who laboured to a 1-0 win again a decimated Dundee United side at the weekend, but they still moved seven points clear at the top of the league.
Van Bronckhorst was invited on as a guest in the Dutch chat show Rondo on Sunday night to analyse his former team Feyenoord's 2-0 defeat to Ajax in the Netherlands' big game of the weekend.
And he admitted he's thrilled with life at Rangers so far with the wide men the biggest change to his formation as the likes of Ryan Kent, Scott Wright and Fashion Sakala flourish on the flanks.
He said: "It's gone really well for me at Rangers. I am very happy with it, especially for the players and the fans.
"Of course it was hard for the players due to the transition of a new manager because Steven Gerrard went to Aston Villa and there were new coaches for the group too.
"They have handled it well and I am very pleased about it. There is fun and energy around the squad and the results have been going well too.
"Gerrard did an excellent job, but I am a manager with a different system. I try and play down the flanks with wingers and a No.10.
"So I would say the biggest change since I came in is that we have started playing with out-and-out wingers because we have the players with those qualities to do that.
"And I have to say that so far it has worked out very well."
