Giovanni van Bronckhorst is set to add Ajax youth coach Dave Vos to the Rangers.
Record Sport understands the deal has been brokered by the Ibrox manager's agent Guido Albers.
And the fact Feyenoord legend Van Bronckhorst is raiding former bitter rivals Ajax for a key coaching position is proof of how much he rates Vos.
Since being announced as Rangers manager, van Bronckhorst has assembled his own entourage of staff in a massive overhaul at Ibrox.
Roy Maakay, Arno Phillips and Yori Bosschart have all followed the Dutchman to the Scottish Premiership, and Vos looks likely to be the next key figure in the door.
De Telegraaf reported that Vos has told the Ajax under-18 side he will be leaving the club following their UEFA Youth League clash with Besiktas to become part of Van Bronckhorst's team.
The 38-year-old has spent his coaching career working in various Dutch academy structures.

He was trained at the Central Institute Training Sports Leaders (CIOS), which has produced the likes of Louis van Gaal, and then also attended Cruyff University before joining AZ Alkmaar.
He joined Ajax in 2011 as under-18's assistant before taking on the top job.
During Van Bronckhorst's unveiling, sporting director Ross Wilson stated that another member would be added to the backroom team from Europe rather than within Scotland.
