Gino D’Acampo causes havoc on This Morning after flashing buttocks

It was a cheekier programme than usual on today’s This Morning – in more ways than one.

Chef Gino D’Acampo returned to the programme, having been absent throughout the majority of the coronavirus pandemic, and was keen to make his presence felt.

As the show’s usual hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby announced what we could expect from today’s programme, they found themselves interrupted as cheeky D’Acampo, 44, tried his best to make them collapse into one of their infamous fits of giggles.

Willoughby, 39, yelped in horror as the former I’m a Celeb winner bared his bottom to the camera.

"No! no Gino D’Acampo !" she laughed. "Somebody get me an anti-bacterial wipe immediately for my eyes!"

But aside from all the distractions, 58-year-old Schofield and Willoughby were pleased to have D’Acampo return.

Gino was back to his usual cheeky self (ITV)

“So nice to see you, Gino!” Willoughby said. “I really like your hair short. Last time we seen you, you were wearing a bandana.”

Viewers were similarly excited to have the chef, known for his naughty innuendos, back on screen, taking to Twitter to welcome the star.

“I’m so happy Gino is back!” said one fan, while another added: “So good to see Gino! Welcome back.”

While he may not have been a regular fixture on This Morning over summer, D’Acampo has been keeping busy, recording a brand new series of Family Fortunes in which he is the host.

And it’s not the first time this week we’ve seen far more than we bargained for on This Morning, with the show featuring a segment at a naturist park in Liverpool on Monday.

The cheeky piece was meant to promote the ongoing competition, with tastefully placed doorframes, tables and chairs to cover the naturist’s more private areas.

However, one shot showed far more than intended when a car door wasn’t quite close enough to cover one man’s genitals.

This Morning continues weekdays from 10am on ITV
