Gino D’Acampo calls in liquidators for My Pasta Bar chain due to £5million worth of debt

Gino D’Acampo is in the process of bringing his My Pasta Bar business to an end after calling in liquidators.

The 45-year-old TV chef's venture - that began in 2012 - owes £4,939,332 to 49 creditors.

It is also understood that the grab and go pasta eatery - which has shops in London's Fleet Street, Leadenhall Market & Bishopsgate- also owes £113,975 to HMRC and £37,887 in staff wages.

When a company goes into liquidation its assets are sold to repay creditors and the business closes down - which records on Companies House confirm Gino - real name Gennaro Sheffield D'Acampo - is doing.
