Gini Wijnaldum spotted enjoying River of Light Festival in Liverpool

Liverpool FC player Gini Wijnaldum has been spotted visiting the River of Light festival following the team’s win against Genk on Tuesday.

The player was seen posing for photographs on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront last night, taking in one of the many art installations.

Gini posed for photos beneath Whole Hole, a light portal display on Wapping Dock created by Dutch artists Vendel & de Wolf.

One fan managed to snap a picture, and Gini seemed in high spirits ahead of Liverpool’s next match this Sunday, November 10.

The River of Light festival runs until November 9 and features 10 dazzling light installations including giant illuminated bunnies, a walk-through suspended light experience and an underwater display inspired by the Cetus constellation.
