Gini Wijnaldum claims Liverpool could be the new Invincibles and stay unbeaten for the whole Premier League campaign.
Arsenal became the first side in the modern era to go undefeated through an entire league season in 2003-04 and Liverpool are being tipped to emulate them.
Jurgen Klopp’s table toppers have won their last 17 league games to set a club record and have lost just one of their last 47 top-flight fixtures.
They are one victory away from equalling the all-time English top-flight record of 18 consecutive victories, set by Manchester City between August and December 2017.
And Wijnaldum admits it is possible Liverpool could remain unbeaten, but claims they are not thinking about matching Arsenal.

“It is possible,” said the Dutch midfielder.
“Nobody knows how it’s going to be. We have had some luck up to now, but we have also put a lot of hard work in.
“We don’t think about the fact that Arsenal did not lose in that season. We just try to give everything in every game.”
Wijnaldum, 28, claims Liverpool will not under-estimate Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow, even though their bitter rivals are in crisis.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have made their worst start to a Premier League campaign, but Wijnaldum says Liverpool still respect them.
“The way we handle every match is to respect the opponent and give 100 per cent,” he said. “We try to do everything as good as possible, to work as hard as possible.
“Every game in the Premier League is tough. Look at the results we have had. I can’t remember a game where it was easy.
“We have won them all so far because we give everything and were totally concentrated. Also we have had a little bit of luck.”
United’s decline is a shock to those fans who grew up during the trophy-laden years of Sir Alex Ferguson and Wijnaldum claims it could happen to any big club - even Liverpool.
“It can happen to anyone,” he said. “It could happen to Liverpool, or Manchester United. It has happened to big clubs in Holland, but I don’t really think about it. I concentrate more on Liverpool.”
