Gina D'Acampo surprised his wife by renewing their vows on their 20th wedding anniversary.
The TV chef whisked his British wife of two decades, Jessica Stellina Morrison, off on a romantic break to Puglia in Italy to mark the special occasion.
But Jess – who is mum to their three kids, Luciano, 19, Rocco, 16, and eight-year-old Mia – though they were just on holiday.
It was only when Gino revealed: “The Bella is not really a waiter. She is going to marry us again” that she twigged what was happening.
The couple’s vow renewal was filmed for ITV show Gino’s Family Adventure, which aired last night.
At the start of the episode, Gino said he and Jessica had escaped the kids for their visit to Puglia, which is also known as the 'village of love' as its patron saint is St Valentine.
Jess, who has never been there before, says: “I’m not sure what is planned but I’m very excited."
The loved-up couple are filmed sharing a smooch in Puglia’s famous ‘kissing alley’ and sampling traditional delicacies – sweet treats etched with their names on.
Later on, Gino tells Jess the real reason they are there – to renew their wedding vows.
Wearing a crisp white shirt and black bow tie, Gino admitted he was “nervous” ahead of the intimate ceremony, which took place in a fairy-lit garden.
“Now, this is not just any evening,” he explained. “It is in fact our 20 th wedding anniversary. So before we tuck in [to a meal] I’ve got one last surprise for Jessica.”
Jess strolled towards him in a black sequin jumpsuit saying: “Oh my God” at the spectacular setting.
Gino then revealed the waiter was not a real waiter, and would be the person marrying them again. A shocked Jess replied: “Are you serious?” as Gino handed her a bunch of flowers.
The This Morning chef continued: “We also have some special guests” as he got an iPad out which showed their three kids on a call.
Their youngest child Mia yelled: “Mum you look beautiful. I wish I was there!”
Oldest son Luciano then chipped in: “Mum, stop crying. It’s a happy day.”
Their children then watched as the only guests of the special ceremony as they officially tied the knot for a second time.
As they went in for a kiss, Gino told Jess: “I love you,” to which Jess replies: “I love you so much” as their kids clapped and cheered in the background.
“Am I romantic or what?” Gino asked as he and Jess sit down to eat their meal. An ecstatic Jess said: “You have completely surpassed yourself... I’m a very happy lady.”
Childhood sweethearts Gino and Jessica met as teenagers when they both worked in Sylvester Stallone's Mambo King restaurant in Marbella - Gino as a chef and Jessica a waitress.
It was definitely not love at first sight - in fact they spent the first few weeks arguing - but they would go on share their first kiss in the meat fridge.
They tied the knot in 2002 went on to welcome three children together.
