What could be more pleasant than a narrowboat ride down the Union Canal, sampling some of the finest gins on the market?
Look no further than Summerhall Drinks Lab's Gin Cruises, which are starting up now and will run until November.
Gin-lovers will get to try five amazing spirits and cocktails chosen by the lab's experts when they hop aboard the Lochrin Belle canal boat for the two-hour cruise.
You'll also learn about gin history and stories as well as getting tasty snacks.
All this as you take in the serene and picturesque sights of the Union Canal, setting off from Fountainbridge in Edinburgh.
As well as tickets for individuals and small groups, you can book out the Lochrin Belle for a larger party of between 16 and 28 people.
The Drinks Lab say: "Join us on board the Lochrin Belle for regular gin tastings up and down the Union Canal, where we'll sample five beautiful gins, each as a neat sample and as part of a mixed drink or cocktail."
