Gigi Hadid’s former lover Tyler Cameron has praised the model and predicts she will be an “incredible” mother as he gushed about the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star.
Gigi and her boyfriend Zayn Malik, 27, delighted fans last month when they revealed they were expecting their first child together following five years of on-and-off dating.
Bachelorette hunk Tyler, 27, enjoyed a whirlwind romance with 25-year-old Gigi between August and October last year while she was on a relationship hiatus from One Direction star Zayn.
And while the romance may have been brief, Tyler says he has enough insight on Gigi’s personality to give a glowing opinion of how she will be as a mother.
Speaking to ESPN West Palm, Tyler gushed: “If anything, I'm excited for her. I'm happy for her. She's gonna be an incredible mother.”
The reality star also laughed off the suggestion that the baby could be his.
Asked about being the father, he replied: “No, no, but she's going to be the most incredible mother. She's a caring sweet person and she's gonna be amazing.”
Tyler’s nervous rejection of the suggestion he could be the father of Gigi’s child followed a similar line of questioning from fans during an Instagram Live chat Tyler held last week.
In the comments section of the chat, one cheeky follower wrote: “Congrats on becoming the father. Gigi is preg.”
But Tyler was quick to knock down the joke, replying: “Y’all are wrong in the comments. Y'all are terrible.”
Last week Gigi beamed about becoming a first time mother during an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s late night talk show.
"We're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support," Gigi gushed
And while Zayn himself is yet to publicly comment on becoming a father, Gigi added: "It's a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day."
