After the success of her fashion line, Guest in Residence, Gigi Hadid, in a conversation with a fashion journal has opened up on the successful management of her professional endeavors along with handling the joys of motherhood. She attributed it to co-parenting her 3 yr old daughter- Khai, with her former partner Zayn Malik.
“I think when you are a parent, you have to be intentional because, now, I literally have half the time. I work when my daughter is with her dad, and that’s the time I have," she told NET-A-PORTER.
Co-parenting their daughter has given her ample time to focus on her work. She stressed that it is during those times when Khai is with her father, musician Zayn Malik, that she can go the extra mile and focus on work. She tries to get the most out of the time she gets and completes stuff that gives her maximum fulfillment.
“The jobs I choose to fill that time with have to be ones that are fulfilling to me,” she said.

During these periods, she can even afford to overwork. The joy of completing a job that is satisfying gives her an additional boost to exert herself. She said, “ I will literally fit in as many jobs as I can on those days. I’m sometimes a crazy person, but if it means a lot to me, then I do it.”
