Pregnant Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Zayn Malik recently announced they are expecting their first child together.
The famous couple took to Instagram to show off their gifted gold jewellery in an adorable hand-holding snap following their recent baby news.
Supermodel Gigi, 25, and singer Zayn, 27, were given the "evil eye" bracelets in a nod to their Middle Eastern heritage.
Jeweller George Khalife sent the couple their gorgeous bracelets - which are each made up of 14 karat gold and feature roughly 0.20 carats of diamond, according to the website.
The pricey bracelets, which cost £230 each, were uploaded to George's Instagram with the caption: "Good vibes only for this beautiful couple!!' @gigihadid @zayn congrats."
The evil eye is culturally believed to drive away negativity and jealousy.
Jeweler George told Page Six on Monday: "I don't know how exactly the evil eye came up, but I think I maybe mentioned it and she was like, 'That's so funny, we were just talking about pulling out some evil eyes.'"
Gigi has Palestinian and Dutch heritage, while Zayn is of English and Pakistani descent.
George continued: "We're all Middle Eastern, so in our culture we believe they ward away jealousy and keep haters away.
"And you know everybody's going to be talking about them - all eyes on them. So I was like, 'Don’t worry, I got you.'"
Gigi and Zayn are self-isolating with her family at her mum's farm.
Speaking about her pregnancy to Jimmy Fallon via video call, Gigi admitted: "Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support.
"Especially during this time, it's a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day."
