History repeats itself. And brands are also now recreating their old fashion shoots with new faces. Recently supermodel sisters Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid went full monty to recreate a 1995 fashion shoot done by photographer Richard Avedon on Claudia Schiffer and Sylvester Stallone for Versace Home Collection.
The Hadid sisters can be seen wearing hair extensions and covering their modesty with Versace handbags. Both the sisters can also be seen holding an apple while posing. A snake can also be seen slithering its way up Bella's leg.
Sharing this picture on her Instagram, Donatella Versace wrote, "My. Versace. Goddesses.” Supermodel Claudia Schiffer also shared this picture on his Instagram along with the 1995 photoshoot which she did with Sylvester Stallone and wrote, "Now and then Versace campaigns — some things are timeless. Love this so much!"
The Hadid sisters have been Donatella Versace's muse for a while and she has been doing regular campaigns with the supermodels.
Sharing the reason why she took the Hadid sisters in her latest campaign, Donatella had earlier shared a post on this and wrote, "The complete Spring Summer 22 campaign is here! Family is so important to me, which is why I wanted these images to focus on sisterhood. I love this campaign so much that I couldn't help but join my Versace queens @gigihadid and @bellahadid in a shot!! Girls, you are inspirational and empowering and I love you soooo much."
