Giggling Ant and Dec mock infamous moment Gillian McKeith 'fainted' on I'm A Celebrity

Ant and Dec called Gillian McKeith's 'fainting' episode of I'm A Celebrity one of the most bizarre moments of their career.

It's ten years since the TV star was overcome and fell to the ground after being nominated for yet another Bushtucker Trial, this time live.

The Scot found herself in a tizzy when she was nominated for her seventh trial in a row.

The double-act held it together as the camp-mate received medical attention.

Now Ant and Dec have recalled the moment Gillian hit the floor as they watched back some classic moments on Sunday's teaser show.

"And she's gone!" laughed Ant, as she fell.

They then watched on as doctors ran around her, applying an oxygen mask.

The worried hosts then say they should go to a break while they "see if she can continue".

The pair both laughed, before Ant made a quip about her being on the floor.

"You're all heart you," giggles Dec.

Ant then added: "That was a very bizarre moment in our TV career."

Of course Gillian recovered and it's one of the show's most talked-about moments.

But viewers were fuming back when they "wasted" their money nominating her for the trial.

Worn out by the public’s demands, Gillian appeared to faint moments before she was set to take part in the gruelling challenge – which left audiences at home less than impressed.

More than 50 people contacted Ofcom to complain about Gillian's so-called deception and ‘fake fainting’.

In a bid to make peace, ITV confirmed it would refund viewers who forked out 50p to vote for Gillian.
