The Galway Food Tours are hosting a special Mother’s Day tour in some of the best loved spots.
The tour will start at McCambridges on Shop Street at 11am with Irish whiskey and cheese tasting.
Then guests can proceed to sample sweets and learn a little bit more of the history of Griffins Bakery and their 100-year-old recipes followed by oyster meal at Tigh Neachtains and Fish cakes from the Kasbah Kitchen and sushi from WA Cafe.

Several restaurants in Dublin including Angelina’s, Isabell’s, Layla’s and the Lucky Duck are offering a complimentary glass of prosecco for all mums on Mother’s Day.
The Stella Diner is celebrating mother’s day with the special Unconditional Cocktail for €9 which is made with Tanqueray 10 gin, fresh lemon juice, champagne & Lychee syrup and topped with dried rose petals.
Sophie’s Restaurant, Bar, and Terraxe in Dublin are offering free dessert for mums.
And Captain Americas is offering free meals for mums across all venues on Sunday.

Theatre
The Stella Theatre Rathmines is celebrating Mother’s Day with two very special Brunch Club screenings.
On Saturday you can catch the hilarious Bridesmaids starring Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig at 12.30pm.
And on Sunday you can watch blockbuster Mamma Mia at 12.30pm.
