Gift guide for teachers, doctors and other professionals we want to thank

As we approach the last week of term, over half (58%) of 6-13-year-olds plan to get gifts for their teachers this year with 48% spending up to £20 on them.

However, new research by notonthehighstreet reveals that 85% of people in professions such as teachers, doctors, shopkeepers, and post people have received a ‘bad gift’ - with reasons including; the gift not being their preferred style (40%), an obvious re-gifted present (20%) and something already owned (17%), this Christmas, purchasing a thoughtful gift will mean the most.

This year, those in professions such as teachers, doctors, shopkeepers, and post people have given their insights into the gifts they’d like to receive, including, a voucher (37%), something thoughtful (34%) and food and drink (32%).
